The romanesque spirit makes its return!

The once ultra-coded universe of marriage has ridded of its inhibitions and now lives its renewal. More and more couples see marriage as a rebellious act in an era of online encounters and disposable love stories. From then on, the rules have changed: “established conventions” have given way to those of fashion and the “trendy” market.

That is what inspired me and made me want to create a masculine feminine ready-to-wear brand for the wedding. Or more precisely, a label for the brides and grooms who adore love, fashion and modernity.

I wanted to find an evocative brand name, neither too feminine nor too masculine which would echo like a love manifesto that carries a together lifestyle, which would relate some spontaneity and the desire to commit despite everything.


Love is everywhere, it is the iconic word of our pop culture.
The rose is ageless and concerns all generations and cultures.

Hence
Love Is Like A Rose ®.

It is a simple sentence and everyone understand its meaning.

Timeless and universal, this name could be a poem, a song or even a film. It could also be written on a wall or even on the skin like a tattoo.

I imagined a subtle Street Art typology that makes it unique. It creates a modern identity derived from a multicultural “melting-pot”, an open-mindedness resulting from a deep desire to be in our time.

Its name is my handwriting. It humanizes the label’s discourse suggesting the idea of a spontaneous note written somewhere.

Made In France handcrafted in France is a choice I made progressively. The desire to collaborate with French companies has been dictated not only as a qualitative reference but also as an ethical criterion. I wanted to be faithful and supportive to these French craftsmen whose skills and expertise are now well established.

I have imagined and designed a collection for the brides and grooms, but also for children and guests ceremony. Indeed to aspire to a universe such as Love Is Like A Rose®, one should also keep in mind the guests (these collections arrive in a few days)!

A showroom located at 205, rue Saint-Honoré 75001 PARIS– FRANCE  has opened its doors in May 2017. I invite the bride and groom to make an appointment at +33 (0)1.42.61.36.09.

On this occasion, I have organized the space so that the bride is not seen by the groom
