I wanted to find an evocative brand name, neither too feminine nor too masculine which would echo like a love manifesto that carries a together lifestyle, which would relate some spontaneity and the desire to commit despite everything.
It is a simple sentence and everyone understand its meaning.
Timeless and universal, this name could be a poem, a song or even a film. It could also be written on a wall or even on the skin like a tattoo.
I imagined a subtle Street Art typology that makes it unique. It creates a modern identity derived from a multicultural “melting-pot”, an open-mindedness resulting from a deep desire to be in our time.
However the desire to learn from books led me to resume my studies.
Hence I hold a Master’s Degree in Cinematography from the University of Paris 7 – Diderot.
Once my studies were completed, I was still looking for my path to “social happiness”.
The house was founded in 1842 by Jules Dormeuil, who had the idea of importing English fabrics to offer them to French tailors. Soon, Dormeuil became the creator of his fabrics and extended his reputation to the whole world.
